We joined over 1,500 school nurses from the United States and abroad at the 41st Annual National Association of School Nurses Conference at Boston's Seaport in late June.

Get In Touch President & Founding Board Member Karen Moran McAndrew and her daughter Maggie, a GIT Youth Ambassador, joined me and my daughter Mary - GIT Youth Ambassador Chairperson - for two days of meeting some of the most dynamic and caring gals in the world!

We personally met with over 800 nurses, sending them home with one of our informational brochures, a peek at our fabulous BSE instructional video, and the promise that we are coming to their state soon!

We met gals from North Carolina, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, West Virginia, California, Texas, Montana, New Jersey, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Washington, D.C., Oklahoma, Louisiana, Ohio, New York, New Mexico, Nevada, Rhode Island, Mississippi, Maine, Vermont, Arkansas, Wyoming, Alabama, and of course, Connecticut! We even met nurses who are stationed at American schools abroad in Germany, Italy, England and the Netherlands!

These smart and compassionate gals had more than just their love of kids in common - they all LOVED our Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheel, and are anxious to begin planting those "daisies" in their own schools!

Our fellow exhibitors were busy, busy, busy, showing the latest and greatest products and programs available to keep our kids healthy, safe and happy.

We loved the Sunbutter samples that Janet Morse was handing out - a treat for those of us who love a good PB&J sandwich, but have a big bad nut allergy - check them out at www.sunbutter.com!

Our new friends at www.foodfacts.com have a food-fabulous way of helping us really find out what we're eating - take a peek and have your eyes opened! And while you're on their website, visit their Blog and see the nice things Director of Marketing Tiffany Gale had to say about GIT.

Most impressive was the passion that Mary and Maggie had when they spoke with the nurses...these teenagers are committed to getting the word out about a program that they take very seriously. Their animated enthusiasm was contagious and made our booth so popular that other exhibitors were coming by to find out exactly who we were!

"Brava!" Mary & Maggie!

"Brava!" School Nurses!

Hope Lives!!
