Hot-diggidy - lots to tell and pics to show!

Soooo.....words are fab, but pictures, well, they're worth a thousand words - or so they say!

We wrapped up October at Boston's Northeastern University with the opening of "A Diary of Healing" - the 48 photo exhibit that my photojournalist pal Christopher Capozziello took of me during my chemo, bi-lateral mastectomy and reconstrution extravaganza.

The American Cancer Society's College Students Against Cancer has 300 Chapters in the United States, and Northeastern University is their newest member. This remarkable group of students (and I do mean remarkable) held a wonderful luncheon, followed by the opening of the exhibit, which included a program of speakers, including Chris and yours truly. I was truly dazzled by the intellect, compassion, thougtfulness and passion of these students. They were engaged and engaging, and I am confident in our future with young men and women like these ready to take on leadership positions in this great, big, wonderful world.

Speaking of leadership positions...we have a new President-Elect, a new First Lady to-be....and two dollies that represent our Get In Touch Girls to a tee! Along with a puppy, they'll be getting the education of a lifetime in the White House and we'll be sure they become GIT Girls as soon as possible.

God Bless America - Hope Lives!!

The shirt the students designed and gave to me - as they say in Boston, "wicked cool!"
