Get In Touch Girls' Program ready to roll for 2009!

Finally! 2009 is here and we're ready and willing for a year filled with two things that I am intimately familiar with - hope & change.

I am delighted to announce that A. Dennis McBride, M.D., M.P.H., who happens to be the super smart Health Director for the City of Milford, CT (my hometown!) has joined GIT's Consulting Board, believing wholeheartedly in the powerful force that the Get In Touch Girls' Program will be in the breast cancer world of prevention and education. How could you not love the super-fab "Daisy Wheel" and the interactive way we approach BSE - for life!?!

My darling friend, Sister Patty, translated the Daisy Wheel into Spanish for us, and we already have been contacted by the incredible folks at the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center in Bridgeport, CT, who are especially interested in our "Rueda de la Margarita!"

Our webgal is also working hard to bring you the Ponte En Contacto website "en espanol!" I told you it was a global initiative - and we're starting with Spain!
